Giveaway Car: 1936 Chevrolet Standard Coupe

The Cache Valley Cruise-In 2011 Grand Prize Giveaway car is this brilliant white and silver 1936 Chevrolet Standard Coupe. This sweet little street rod is powered by the ever-reliable 350 Chevy / Turbo 350 combo and is suspended by a Mustang II front and 8″ Ford Rear. A power rack and front disks keep you headed where you want to go and let you stop when you get there. Les Schwab donated the American Racing Torq Thrust D’s and the Toyo tires that hold up each corner. It’s completely shaved & smoothed and slammed into the weeds for that perfect hot rod stance. Note also the custom grille! Kindig-It Design painted the two-tone top in Mercedes silver and laid down the separating pinstripes. They also added some pin-striping to liven up the interior, as well. Just in case you might ever want to change lanes, they added a pair of exterior mirrors. The windows & trunk are both power operated, and the cowl vent was retained for a bit of ole’ time “air conditioning”. Tunes are provided via a custom stereo installation courtesy of Stokes Car Entertainment and detailing inside was performed by M-D Interiors; Car Quest donated many small parts required to return the old Chevy to mechanical and visual perfection. The leather seats are 8-way power, and the driver’s side has lumbar support as well; with the tilt column, too, this is a car you can hop in and cruise from sea to shining sea, smiling all the way!
